The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) was established in 1948. As one of the largest providers of workforce training in the nation, TEEX is known for its innovative, customized programs and its hands-on, on-site, and online training. Through a variety of delivery methods tailored to fit customer needs, TEEX training strives to develop businesses and the economy; protect people and the environment; and build safe, modern infrastructure. The agency's ongoing efforts have resulted in cleaner drinking water, better roads and infrastructure, improved workplace safety and enhanced public safety. TEEX's training solutions help more than 192,000 individuals each year to upgrade their skills, become certified in their professions or learn more about new technologies. TEEX has the experience, people, technology and capabilities to provide technical assistance and learning solutions to organizations and businesses. TEEX is a member of the Texas A&M University System and is headquartered in College Station, Texas, with regional training centers and offices located around the state.
