ACE learning evaluations teams consist of subject-matter experts and ACE staff. ACE staff identifies academic specialists to serve on the team based on courses taught, input from postsecondary educational institutions and organizations, and recommendations from colleagues.
ACE creates specialized teams for each review based on the required academic areas, balance between new and experienced evaluators, diversity in the representation of the type of higher education institution, distance from the site where the review takes place, and overall composition of the team.
There is a formal selection process to identify the appropriate evaluators for the team. Learn more about serving on an ACE Review, the three types of ACE reviews, and team selection, outreach, and recruitment.
