ACE is now accepting applications for five of its annual awards, and deadlines are fast approaching.
Nominations are open until Nov. 12 for the ACE/Fidelity Investments Award for Institutional Transformation and until Nov. 19 for the ACE State Network Leadership Award, the ACE Donna Shavlik Award, and the Reginald Wilson Diversity Leadership Award. Applications for the ACE Student of the Year Award close Feb. 5, 2024.

ACE/Fidelity Investments Award for Institutional Transformation
The ACE/Fidelity Investments
Award for Institutional Transformation, established in 2014, recognizes institutions that have responded to challenges in innovative and creative ways that allow the institution to thrive. The winners of the award, which includes a small and large school category, each receive a $10,000 prize. The application deadline is Nov. 12, 2023. ACE is grateful to Fidelity Investments for its support of this award.

ACE Donna Shavlik Award
Donna Shavlik
The
ACE Donna Shavlik Award, established in 1999, honors an individual whose leadership demonstrates a sustained commitment to advancing women in higher education through actions or initiatives enhancing women’s leadership and career development, campus climate, and mentoring of women. The award was established to honor Donna Shavlik, past director of ACE’s former Office of Women in Higher Education. Nominations will be accepted through Nov. 19. ACE is grateful to Fidelity Investments for its support of this award.

ACE State Network Leadership Award
The
ACE State Network Leadership Award for the Advancement of Women in Higher Education, established in 2004, recognizes an innovative program sponsored by a state network within the ACE Women’s Network or by a college or university that helped advance or support women’s issues in higher education. ACE has bestowed this award since 2004. Nominations close Nov. 19.

Reginald Wilson Diversity Leadership Award
Reginald Wilson
The
Reginal Wilson Diversity Leadership Award honors individuals who have demonstrated leadership and commitment on a national level to the advancement of racial and ethnic minorities and other underrepresented populations in higher education. The award was established in 2001 to honor the late Reginald Wilson, the founding director of ACE’s Office of Minority Concerns and founding co-author of the first ACE “Minorities in Higher Education Status Report,” and series publications. Nominations will be accepted through Nov. 19.

ACE Student of the Year Award
The
ACE Student of the Year Award recognizes two adult learners who have benefited from the use of ACE's military or workforce credit recommendations to earn a college degree or advance a career. Award winners, each of which will receive a $1,000 scholarship to continue their education, embody the best attributes of thousands of adult learners. Applications for the award close Feb 5, 2024.
