Description

Objective:

To provide students with an understanding of networking terminology, a working familiarity with the OSI model, and the skills necessary to configure and manage TCP/IP on Netware 4 and 3 servers.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Configure Netware servers as IP routers
  • Identify and list the functions of the OSI model within the TCP/IP protocol stack
  • Install, configure, and manage an IP network by assigning IP addresses
  • Develop subnetwork masks
  • Manage TCP/IP activities using Netware utilities
