In the summer of 2013, Rasmussen College separated from its Learning Technologies department, and that entity became Collegis Education. The team that was responsible for building online courses for Rasmussen College was now going to build for Rasmussen and other institutions. The process this team used for building and maintaining online coursework was largely intact and continues today. Our relationship with Rasmussen College allows us many advantages, including the ability to leverage a course building process that has been leveraged during the Rasmussen College accreditation process (HLC), programmatic accreditation processes (ABHES), as well as Rasmussen College's academic expertise.The Collegis competency courses provide options to Rasmussen students (as well as others) who have different learning styles and access needs. Typically, the students are adult learners who are engaged in other life activities (work, family, etc.) in addition to their schooling.Collegis Education is a technology-based services company that offers industry-leading education solutions for colleges and universities of every size in every sector.
