Description

Objective:

To train the student how steam systems are installed and operated.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Layout a basic one-pipe steam heating system
  • Troubleshoot low and high pressure steam installation malfunctions
  • Understand what steam is, how it is utilized in heating, cooling and process piping
  • Describe how two pipe steam systems function and name all of the essential components
