Description

Objective:

To train the student in proper installation of air conditioning equipment and piping.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explain how the new types of energy saving equipment such as variable frequency drive motors are more efficient
  • Describe the psychrometric charts and how they influence system design and installation
  • Understand how to install piping and equipment for comfort control air-conditioning systems in residential and commercial applications
  • Troubleshoot and repair the different types of air conditioning equipment and piping
