Description

Objective:

To train the student to design and specify materials for a domestic hot and cold water supply system.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand how to protect potable water supplies with proper backflow devices
  • Design a hot water supply system using different types of water heating equipment
  • Plan a hot and cold water supply system in high-rise buildings
  • Describe the difference between wells and other sources of potable water
