Objective:

The course objective is to provide details on Six Sigma and DMAIC concepts, methodologies, and tools, and explain how they are applied in organizations.

Learning Outcomes:

  • understand how Lean Six Sigma can become a transformational strategy that enables a system of process control and process design to make your business more effective and efficient; become familiar with some key tools and how they integrate with Six Sigma
  • use work breakdown structure, Gantt chart, activity network diagrams, affinity diagrams, matrix charts, tree diagrams and tollgate reviews
  • become familiar with the basic methods for measurement system analysis and GR and R studies
  • work with common Lean tools used to improve process design and facilitate process control
