Description

Objective:

This examination is a multiple-choice exam designed to enable schools to award credit to students for knowledge equivalent to that learned by students taking the course. The exam covers topics including ancient world; middle ages; renaissance; baroque, rococo, and neoclassicism; romanticism and realism; impressionism and post-impressionism; early twentieth century; postwar to postmodern; and contemporary.

The skills measured include ancient world (15 percent); middle ages (12 percent); renaissance (15 percent); baroque (10 percent); rococo and neoclassicism (9 percent); romanticism and realism (8 percent); impressionism and post-impressionism (8 percent); early twentieth century (12 percent); postwar and postmodern (6 percent); and contemporary (5 percent).
