Description

Objective:

The course objective is to enhance and strengthen the ILR level 3 student's functional use of the language by stressing active language production and accuracy to cultivate a language analyst capable of excelling at more than passive tasks. The primary objectives of the course include: listening and reading comprehension, transcription, translation, advanced grammar concepts, and cultural expertise. Speaking and writing are used to reinforce the proper use of lexical and grammatical forms and serve as an ongoing assessment/feedback tool for the instructor.
