Description

Objective:

The course objective is to allow students to apply Irregular Warfare concepts, theories, and approaches to address complex challenges.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Analyze and discuss the complex operating environment and the Department of Defense's (DoD) policy, strategic philosophies, and operational approaches addressing irregular threats
  • Examine and discuss the history, doctrine, definitions, and application for each of the five primary activities associated with DoD's latest IW concept
  • Identify and comprehend emerging trends and threats influencing the world's security and their potential impacts on the Joint Force
  • Examine and discuss the task and function of supporting activities relating to Irregular Warfare (IW)
