Description

Objective:

To introduce students to basic computer hardware and software concepts, key computer terminology, and provide hands-on practice with basic use of computers.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Install and upgrade software and hardware
  • Understand the basic types of computer hardware components, computer processes, network computing, operating systems and the operation of peripheral devices such as keyboards, a mouse, and monitors and printers
