Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to assign contracts for administration, generate Contract Deficiency Reports (CDRs), perform various contract reviews, administer contract corrections, plan and conduct Post-Award Orientation Conferences (PAOCs), and manage contract modifications in accordance with DCMA policy and government regulations.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Given a sample contract, analyze the contract for acceptability to be administered
  • Analyze a sample contract to appraise the completeness and accuracy of an initial Contract Receipt and Review (CRR)
  • Given a contract scenario, review a contract in a simulated Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS) database
  • Given a contract scenario, complete the Post-Award Orientation Conference (PAOC) process
  • Given a contract modification scenario, appraise whether a contract modification documentation is complete and accurate
  • Analyze contract scenarios in order to select the contract administration assignment/delegation for Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) contract administration
  • Given a sample contract, analyze the contract and identify deficiencies
  • Given a sample Contract Deficiency Report (CDR) indicating the contract has been incorrectly assigned for administration, perform the process for reassigning a contract/delegation
  • Analyze a sample contract to appraise the completeness and accuracy of an initial Contract Receipt and Review (CRR)
  • Given a contract scenario, determine the process for correcting a contract in the Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS) database
  • Given a contract scenario, determine the process for contract recommendation documentation
  • Given a contract scenario, generate the Post-Award Orientation Conference (PAOC) documentation
