Description

Objective:

The course objective is to deliver clear and understandable explanations of core business statistics concepts. Course work will emphasize the importance of interpreting statistical results to make effective decisions to improve business processes and outcomes.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of various ways of displaying data
  • Define and discuss the meaning of correlation and make practical conclusions from data
  • And define and apply chi square tests
  • Execute base statistical analysis via the utilization of mean/median/mode/standard deviation
  • Define probability including independent variables and decision making
  • Calculate and explain standard deviation
