Description

Objective:

The course objective is to prepare students for completion of the Code Advanced Bundle. This bundle is a combination of the following courses: Code and Practices 6 and Code Calculations 3. Students will understand OCPD application requirements and considerations. It also covers component protection and transformer protection, as well as identifying alternate power systems. Code Calculations will be discussed in greater detail.

  • Identify motor branch-circuit devices and protection
  • List OCPD application requirements and considerations
  • Explore the difference between Transformer Protection and Component Protection
  • Demonstrate selective coordination
