Description

Objective:

The course objective is to prepare students for completion of Programmable Logic Controllers, Level II - Address-Based and Programmable Logic Controllers, Level II - Tag-Based. Students will learn how to perform advanced programming and data-handling instructions. Monitoring analog inputs and controlling analog outputs for both systems. As well as, programming counters and timers in address-based and tag-based systems. Students will complete several lab exercises using the RSLogix software.

  • Describe the functions of a PLC sequencer
  • Explain the difference between Address-Based and Tag-Based Systems
  • Explain the difference between indirect and indexed addressing
