Description

Objective:

The course objective is to prepare students for completion of the Local Area Networks Advanced Bundle. This bundle is a combination of the following courses: Local Area Networks 1 and Local Area Networks 2. It describes the abstract concepts that are central to your ability to understand how networks operate. Network operating systems are explored, as is their relationship with the OSI model in accomplishing their tasks. Subsequent lessons will discuss Windows and the OSI Model, 10Base2, 10Base5 Ethernet technology, and troubleshooting these systems. This course also examines the need for keeping systems secure by describing types of malware and the best ways to prevent becoming a victim of a malware.
