Description

Objective:

The course objective is to allow students to utilize analysis tools and critical thinking to examine special problems in safety and occupational health. Problem solving strategies will be explored and students will be provided an opportunity to apply such strategies during the course.

  • Anticipate and solve problems in complex systems
  • Discuss various tools which can be utilized to guide critical thinking and analyze a problem

  • Determine when a problem exists in the organization

  • Help to prepare an original staff study paper that addresses current issues within the scope of their area of work
