Description

Objective:

To provide the student with the knowledge and skills to function as a Brigade or facility level safety profession and manage the Army and Aviation Safety programs within their respective unit.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Formulate and integrate supervisory level control measures for system defects using evaluation and survey data analysis
  • Validate safety and accident prevention programs as they apply to OSHA and DOD requirements
  • Assess the development, implementation, and effectiveness of subordinate Aviation and Ground safety management systems
  • Discriminate composite risks associated with large and/or joint operations and weigh their risks against overall training/combat to be gained
  • Appraise the validity and compliance of subordinate unit accident investigation findings and recommendations
