Description

Objective:

The course objective is to allow the student to analyze the legal risks for their organization and individuals in safety, health and loss prevention. Student learners will understand the process and the importance of compliance programs that maintain an organization free from legal liability under the various work place laws.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate comprehension of contract language and its importance
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the safety challenges, legal requirements and liability issues for a multi-employer construction or remodeling site
  • Interpret legal liability case studies and explain legal principles
