Description

Objective:

The course objective is to enable each student to work independently to review relevant research literature in order to develop a fact sheet for a possible risk communication incident. Each student will participate in a group to formulate a risk communication plan.

  • Identify the professionals and other persons who should take part in the risk communication plan
  • Evaluate existing risk communication materials critically
  • Explore the most effective way of managing disputes and emergency situations
