Objective:

The course objective is to provide students with the fundamentals required to read, write, and speak in the French language. This course offers students the opportunity to learn the basics of French through both a linguistic and cultural lens, exploring the cultures and customs of various French-speaking countries along with basic grammatical structures and useful vocabulary for making introductions, describing university and home life, communicating recent and future plans, and discussing various activities and interests.
