Description

Objective:

DSST Human Cultural Geography is a multiple-choice exam designed to evaluate whether candidates possess the knowledge and understanding that would be gained by taking a lower-level college course in geography which includes the following content: the Earth and basic facts: maps, physiography, atmosphere, soils and vegetation, water; culture and environment; settlement patterns; and political and regional geography.

Skills Measured:

Questions on the Human Cultural Geography examination require candidates to demonstrate one or more of the following abilities: The Earth, Basic Facts and Concepts- 20%; Culture and Environment- 35%; Spatial Processes- 30%; Regional Geography- 15%.
