Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide students with the entry-level knowledge and skills necessary to safely participate in scuba dives to a depth of 60 feet/18 meters, or shallower.

Learning Outcomes:

plan and conduct recreational dives without instructor supervision while applying the knowledge and skills the student learned in this course, within the limits of their training and experience
understand how to obtain air fills, scuba equipment and other dive services
plan, conduct and log open water dives when equipped properly and accompanied by a buddy in conditions in which the student has training and/or experience
explain the importance of continuing their diver training by completing PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, and/or in PADI Specialty courses
