Description

Objective:

The course objective is for students to be able to comprehend implicit and explicit information extracted from ILR Level 2+/3 (ACTFL Advanced-Plus) authentic Spanish graphic and audio sources.

Learning Outcomes:

select the essential elements of information in an authentic ILR Level 2+/3 written text by answering questions, outlining, paraphrasing, and summarizing in English with at least 85% accuracy;
identify the tone and the author's intent in an authentic ILR Level 2+/3 text, providing justification from the text, with at least 85% accuracy
select the essential elements of information in an audio/video clip by answering questions, outlining, paraphrasing, and summarizing in English, with at least 85% accuracy
