Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to contract for federal government construction from acquisition planning through contract closeout.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Given a construction contract requirement, devise a construction acquisition plan in accordance with FAR part 7, DFARS 207 (if DoD), and agency policies and procedures
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the environment and rules for contracting for construction
  • Administer clauses unique to construction contracting
