Description

Objective:

To provide the student with an understanding of the biologic effects of radiation on cells, organs, and the total human body. The dose/effect relationship is explained and acute versus chronic exposures are delineated. The acute radiation syndrome and the related clinical conditions are covered along with appropriate federal regulations governing the clinical use of radioactive materials.
