Description

Objective:

The course objective is for students to explore the various methods for acquiring goods and services needed to operate a Non-appropriated fund (NAF) program in the most efficient, cost effective manner and in accordance with established laws and regulations.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Communicate procurement terminology and relate to practices used in their program
  • Correlate relationship between Award and Bill of Sales (BOS) for given procurement requirement
  • Examine Contract Administration and Post Award Functions required for successful procurement
  • Evaluate sample acquisition planning plans against the standard
  • Analyze different aspects of an Acquisition Plan (AP) in order to create the Purchase Request (PR)
