Objective:

To orient students to the application of accounting principles and techniques in practice, focusing mainly on such concepts and topics as: financial accounting and accounting standards; the conceptual framework underlying financial accounting; the accounting information system; the income statement; the balance sheet and statement of cash flows; the time value of money; cash and receivables; and the valuation of inventories.
