Description

Objective:

To provide the student with current basic federal accounting concepts, principles, requirements, and practices, (2) to explain key federal laws, regulations, and other guidelines for proper control and accountability of federal funds, and (3) to present explanations and illustrations of federal budget and accounting events and transactions relating to appropriation and fund accounting.
