Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide general knowledge of both performing and visual arts, and literature. Covering periods from classical to contemporary and in various fields.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify characteristics of certain writers, artists, schools or periods by recognizing their techniques such as rhyme, scheme, medium and matters of style
  • Demonstrate understanding of humanities via recollection, information, comprehension of concepts
  • Apply concepts and analysis of interpretation of various artwork
  • Understanding the different periods from classical to contemporary in various fields: poetry, prose, philosophy, art, architecture, music, dance, theater and film
  • Describe and interpret literary passages and art reproduction that are unfamiliar
