Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide training and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the incident command system and will expand upon the information covered in the ICS 100 and ICS 200 courses allowing them to operate more efficiently when incidents increase in scope and size.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Describe how the NIMS command and management component supports the management of expanding incidents
  • Describe the incident or event management process for supervisors and expanding incidents as prescribed by the Incident Command System (ICS)
  • Develop an Incident Action Plan for a simulated incident
  • Implement the incident management process on a simulated expanding incident
