Description

Objective:

The course objective is to include an introduction to computer system architecture. Microprocessors; power supplies; random access memory; read-only memory; basic input/output software; CMOS; motherboards; video cards; sound cards; and removable media and storage devices will be examined.

  • Know both historical and conceptual theories on each individual component
  • Learn the proper field terminology in order to discuss how the components work
  • Properly build a computer system
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows
  • Have an extensive knowledge of processor history and types of processors used
