Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide instruction of sonographic procedures, including ultrasound contrast applications, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. The basic principles of contrast agents are covered. Emphasis will be placed upon vascular, abdominal and cardiac applications. Musculoskeletal ultrasound is evaluated to assess the diagnostic criteria. Musculoskeletal ultrasound protocols and pathologies will be covered. Outside preparation includes completion of assigned readings and homework assignments.
