Description

Objective:

The course objective is to acquaint students with the administrative aspect of a medical office. The students will become familiar with general office responsibilities and gain knowledge in banking, bookkeeping, and the role of computers in health care. Students are trained to prepare and review medical insurance forms, perform record keeping, process accounts payable and accounts receivable, schedule appointments, order supplies, and utilize medical coding systems.
