Objective:

The Introduction to Psychology course tests the student’s knowledge of psychological theory, principles, and terminology. The content stresses basic facts, concepts, and generally accepted principles. Topics include the science of psychology, the biological basis of behavior, senses and perception, learning, states of consciousness, cognition (thinking, intelligence, and language), human development, motivation, emotion, personality, social psychology, and psychological disorders.
