Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide intensive enhancement training integrating language and area studies in order to develop professional-level skills in listening, reading and speaking. The Advanced Korean Program is designed to help students expand their knowledge and understanding of the Korean language and Korean culture through listening, reading, speaking, grammar and area studies.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate their subject-matter expertise through oral presentations, written papers, and other creative products
  • Utilize critical thinking skills and create their own viewpoint
  • Perform tasks and functions in listening and reading at Level 3 or higher requiring understanding of the social science domains
