Description

Objective:

The course objective is to practice developing solutions to a variety of challenges that Facilities Engineering (FE) professionals encounter within DoD through the use of realistic, scenario-based activities.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Apply risk management actions and processes for a facilities engineering project
  • Analyze project issues and formulate alternative resolutions
  • Assess the adequacy of selected portions of a project management plan in support of construction projects
  • Prepare requirements documents for congressional approval, in accordance with DoD policies and procedures
  • Determine the cost risk associated with fulfilling the requirement for a project
  • Create a detailed integrated master schedule
