Description Section 3 Content Section 3 Content Left Section 3 Content Right Objective: This course provides end-to-end training related to implementing a review of a contractor's CM system in accordance with Engineering Policy DCMA-INST 207 and applicable CM standards as specified in contractual documents. The course encompasses the full application of engineering surveillance to perform a CM system review: identifying contract CM requirements, planning, execution, documentation and follow-up of CM surveillance activity. The course promotes critical thinking through the use of contractor environment, simulated learning scenarios, artifacts and team interactions. Learning Outcomes: Identify specifications, standards, and DCMA policies governing supplier configuration management system reviews and determine the configuration management requirements the DCMA Engineer is responsible for in performing appropriate surveillance Identify contract requirements, assess risk, and prioritize configuration management areas of surveillance when given acquisition contracts and other support requirements documents to review Organize objective evidence for each Configuration Management System Review function and record findings Generate appropriate reports, influence instruments, surveillance updates, and disseminate findings accordingly Instruction & Assessment Section 4 Content Section 4 Content Left Section 4 Content Right Instructional Strategies: Audio Visual Materials Case Studies Classroom Exercise Discussion Lectures Practical Exercises Methods of Assessment: Case Studies Examinations Minimum Passing Score: 80% Supplemental Materials Section 5 Content Section 5 Content Left Section 5 Content Right Section 6 Content Section 6 Content Left Section 6 Content Right Button Content Rail Content 1 Other offerings from Defense Acquisition University Acquisition Law (DAU-0251) Advanced Concepts in Cost Analysis (DAU-0218) Advanced Test and Evaluation (DAU-0222) Agile for DoD Acquisition Team Members (DAU-0310) Applied Business Analysis Techniques (DAU-0309) Applied Cost Analysis (DAU-0307) Applied Operating and Support Cost Analysis (DAU-0308) BCE 0010 - Introduction to Cost Modeling, BCE 1700 - Cost Assessment Data Enterprise (CADE) 101, BCE 1710 - FlexFiles 101, and BCE 2500 - Cost Assessment Data Enterprise (CADE) 201 (DAU-0338) BCE 1000 - Fundamentals of Cost Estimating (DAU-0337) BCE 2000V - Intermediate Cost Estimating (DAU-0336) View All Courses Page Content
