Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide an opportunity for the student to gain an understanding of the importance of data collection and analysis, the types of data to collect, and how to analyze data. This will enable the Quality Assurance Specialist to use the results of analysis in performing risk based surveillance. The student also has an opportunity to practice data analysis in an effort to strengthen their analytical skills and garner their confidence in formulating opinions. This course will provide an opportunity for government quality assurance personnel to build upon prior instruction and gain hands-on experience with data collection, analysis, collation, and dissemination.
