Description

Objective:

The course objective is to further the students’ knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networks.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Given computer hardware and tools, and observing proper safety and troubleshooting measures, disassemble and reassemble a computer system so that it can boot up to an operating system
  • Given a scenario with a set of parameters, establish a functional virtual machine that boots to an operating system
  • Given a working system, Windows command-line and GUI tools, manipulate files and folders to complete required actions in a scenario
  • Given a working system, Windows command-line, GUI tools, make system changes to complete required actions in a scenario
