Description

Objective:

The course objective is to ensure each student can perform mission-critical duties associated with proper management of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy fuel accounts.

Learning Outcomes:

  • understand Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) fuel inventory account processing and maintenance from a base level accounting perspective including: identifying requirements; placing fuel orders; accounting for the receipt of fuel; processing inventory transactions; correcting errors within the account; reconciliation of inventory; use of features within the DLA Energy licensed software (FuelsManager® Defense 9.0, FuelsManager® Defense Enterprise, Enterprise Business System, External Enterprise Business Portal and various other web-based application tools); and locating necessary information on the DLA Energy web page and DLA Energy Training Portal
