Description

Objective:

The course objective is to introduce students to practical applications of business law concepts that are common to companies and consumers.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify concepts and application of laws affecting business, consumers and individuals
  • Explain the formation of contracts, and their enforceability, defenses and remedies for breach
  • Describe real and personal property and their applications to business
  • Outline the legal system and alternatives to it, such as Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Discuss wills, trusts and elder law issues.
