Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide a safe environment where IS Reps who have reached the full performance level can engage in complex problem solving, critical thinking, leadership, and advanced communication in preparation for assuming a more senior role.

Learning Outcomes:

conduct a self-assessment of leadership and communication skills required to succeed as a Senior IS Rep
develop a plan for the identification and development of a solution to a real-world DCSA or industrial security problem
assess a complex, signatory Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) facility for compliance with mitigation
evaluate the implementation of international security requirements at complex facilities engaged in multiple contracts involving international transfers
compare and contrast the IS Rep's roles and responsibilities in overseeing programs that fall outside the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) to standard NISP oversight
justify, in written report and oral presentation, to senior-level DCSA leadership the solution developed to address a real-world DCSA or industrial security problem
