Paper 2 is a two-hour, multi-part assessment requiring a data response question, an essay focusing primarily on microeconomics, and an essay focusing primarily on macroeconomics.

At the A Level, there are two additional Papers. Paper 3 is a multiple-choice assessment covering content similar to that at the AS Level, but at a higher level of demand, over 1 hour and 15 minutes. Paper 4 is a two-hour, multi-part assessment requiring a data response question, an essay focusing primarily on microeconomics, and an essay focusing primarily on macroeconomics. Knowledge of material at the AS Level is assumed for both Papers 3 & 4.
