Description

Objective:

The course objective is to provide the student with an in-depth understanding of data mining and management within the framework of business analytics.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to explore data-driven science
  • Create and interpret multiple linear regression models
  • And analyze text, networks, location and imagery data.
  • Compare averages between populations
  • Calculate simple linear regression
  • Practice working with exponential, logarithmic, and power regression models
  • Create and interpret logistic regression models

  • Data-driven science in statistics, describing the data, statistical inference, confidence intervals, t-tests and ANOVA, linear, exponential, logarithmic, and power regression, multiple linear regression, logistic regression, and analyzing text, networks location, and imagery data
