Description

Objective:

The course objective is to develop concepts, techniques, and strategies for leading and managing strategic change within an organization; experiment with tools needed to successfully evaluate change in an organization; assess the effectiveness of change on an organization's productivity and employee satisfaction; build a strategy for change; list characteristics and qualities of a leader; and summarize how to apply leadership qualities for successful change in your organization.

  • Analyze and diagnose the health of an organization's culture
  • Generalize where power comes from, and what to do to acquire and manage it
  • Compare the strengths and weakness of each of the different types of organization structure
  • Differentiate between leadership and management
  • Identify the reasons people resist change and overcome that resistance
  • Describe how socialization can influence custodianship versus innovation in organizations
  • Explain the steps required and process of problem solving
  • Illustrate the different models of change.
