Description

Objective:

The course objective is to build on concepts from the Supply Chain Management I course, discuss how to determine and orchestrate supply chain processes, integrate and manage supply chain design, and apply supply chain management principles to the service sector and examine strategic performance measurements.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to discuss the functions and activities in the supply chain functional areas of inventory management, transportation, warehousing and material handling, and packaging
  • Describe the trade-offs related to supply chain design
  • And review future trends in supply chain management.
  • Apply supply chain knowledge to the evaluation of supply chain design challenges in case situations
