Description

Objective:

The course objective is to enable the student to evaluate, at an advanced level and in the context of the risk management process, the various categories of personal insurance and personal financial planning.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Recommend appropriate insurance and noninsurance techniques to handle those exposures in harmony with the individual's or family's objectives
  • Analyze the property, liability, and personal financial loss exposures faced by individuals and families
  • Analyze and determine whether a described loss is covered
